I'm seeing the tons of comments clowning St. Joseph's but my only dislikes about that behavioral hospital were most of the techs (not all) and the showers. I was there for a week but it was like I was at home. 🙂
i went there twice for extended stays in 2021, would not recommend, they don’t mind it transphobic staff members yell at trans kids, one of those transphobic staff members Amy made my situation worse, she was verbally abusive and had no repercussions from it, she made my stay worse and the time i came back she targeted me and did the same thing
I was placed on an involuntarily commitment order at the MLK Blvd hospital in March 2010. What a $#!+'ing nightmare that was. Rude, uncaring staff, doctors who would meet w/patients for literally 45 seconds per visit, not to mention the unit was kinda dirty & the groups on the 2 North A unit were mostly unhelpful. Would not recommend.
