Resetting brain networks
Helping to end ingrained negative patterns of thought,
and making patients far more receptive to therapy.

DMT (dimethyltryptamine) with psychotherapy for major depressive disorder.
Phase one done on healthy volunteers

Dr Carol Routledge, chief medical and scientific officer
We think that this treatment will really get to the root cause, rather than just dampening symptoms
Almost immediate benefits
Based on initial data that we already have, and other companies have, there’s going to be a fairly immediate impact
In terms of the psychedelic experience, we’re talking about 20 minutes,
and then the integration therapy afterwards,
we expect the antidepressant activity to be extremely durable … to last maybe three, four or five months
Imaging data
Psychedelics work on the brain networks
Making neural connections more flexible to brain plasticity
You can reset those networks in the brain, and then that leaves the brain much more receptive to therapy, which is why we bring it in straight afterwards

Psilocybin microdosing
Repeated self-administration of mushrooms containing psilocybin,
at doses small enough to not impact regular functioning.
3–5 times per week, of 0.1 to 0.3 g of dried mushrooms
Naturalistic, observational design
Study approved, University of British Columbia Research Ethics Board (H19-03051)
Psilocybin microdosers (n = 953)
Non-microdosing comparators (n = 180)
For approximately 30 days
Identified small- to medium-sized improvements in mood and mental health,
that were generally consistent across gender, age and presence of mental health concerns
Improved psychomotor performance in older adults.

Adults who microdose psychedelics report health related motivations and lower levels of anxiety and depression compared to non-microdosers

Large international sample of adults
microdosers (n = 4050)
non-microdosers (n = 4653)
Psilocybin, 85% of microdosers, (LSD, 11%)
microdosers exhibited lower levels of depression, anxiety, and stress across gender
microdosers were less likely to use alcohol regularly and were more likely to abstain from alcohol entirely
microdosers were more likely to abstain from the use of nicotine

A "new" treatment that is still untested and apparently involves brain surgery to reset neural networks. No, thanks! I doubt that the networks are well enough mapped. Lobotomies had a disastrous effect on a patient; I lived next door to one. As a commentator once said, this breaking news is of interest to researchers only, like the story that, if we could clean out the gunk from all our cells, we would be young again. Very impractical!
These trials are taking years already. I've been looking for another treatment for a long time. Clinical depressed for 30 years with locked-in episodes as you described. 2 different anti depressants at some times which gave me a neurological problem on top. No help from my GP there. It was my own decision to ween both slowly. My personal preference is DMT microdosed. It's a chemical that's already in the brain. And in hallucinogenic dosis it is not comparable with all the others. It seems that everyone who takes it has more or less the same hallucinations. And they are short. 15 min I believe. Can't wait for this to become a legal therapy!
You need shrooms doctors
Hi John. Look up Dr Chris Palmer´s work, he is a psychiatrist and a assistant professor at Harvard
After 20+ years on SSRIs I am off them after 3 psilocybin doses. Am I cured? No. But I feel 100 times better and am no longer suicidal.
My mother has hard depression connected with IBS and Oversensitive bladder, there was no improvement after farma drugs. She was spending her days crying/on toilet(couldnt waork or do anything). After first dose of 1g psylocybin she was different person, you could see it in her face. I belive it saved her live.
Thank you so much, will it work after using trepiline for 20 years ???
Would not take those drugs, it must be a natural medicine 😊
In Spain they have been retired all the workforce of over 52 years old so there are no more doctors. What is left is the ones that are making their residents so all of them are under 30 years old. What do we call healthy killers
Psilocybin mushrooms saved my life honestly. They helped me see the pure beauty in life, and made me realize how dumb it would be to take myself out.
They should also change the microbes with a fecal transplant from a healthy Donors . Studies show depression comes the stomach

There's a reason why the term *bad trip* exists. Do the research.
I’m praying everyday this is successful. I have severe major depressive disorder which has turned in to debilitating Anhedonia as well. I’ve turned to drug use, opioids and cocaine, have been clean for over a year now, only using them for a period of 6 months at a time, haven’t had a drink in over a year, but I’m still depressed, extremely depressed. I have tried 11 different medications, ketamine nasal, TMS, talk therapy and exercise. Spent thousands on supplements, and nothing has worked. I am hit with sudden depressive moods that last for days; not like bipolar, but fluctuating during the day and week. I get no relief, if I’m not in a severe depressive state, I’m completely apathetic and anhedonic and cannot enjoy anything, along with CPTSD and Severe social anxiety, I feel like I’m in living hell, in my own mind, it’s torture. I don’t know what to do anymore. I am begging for help.
One of the simplest and safest treatments worth trying for depression & anxiety BEFORE going down any radical medicinal routes is the Carnivore Diet ! … Ask Dr. Ken Berry, Dr. Anthony Chafee, Dr. Robert Cywes, Dr. Ben Bikman, Dr. Paul Mason, Dr. David Unwin, Dr. Robert Lustig and Kerry Mann from the HomeSteadHow channel.
Didn't work for me
I am suffering from major depression and I have done DMT and I can verify that it last for three months but then you have to do it again, but the relief is immediate
I am convicted that radio waves affect the brain. In recant years the best sleep that I have had is when on a jet plane. Not the most comfortable but always wake up happy
My recovery journey was supported by the therapeutic benefits of mushrooms. Other psychedelics like DMT, LSD are exceptional as well
Psychedelic are just an exceptional mental health breakthrough. It is quite fascinating how effective they’re against depression and anxiety.
