Cool!
Have you ever been south of the Mason Dixon line in America?😂😂😂
Heatwaves have increasingly been recognized for their impact on mental health, exacerbating stress, anxiety, and mood disorders. Extreme temperatures can disrupt sleep, reduce outdoor activities, and strain social and physical resources, leading to heightened psychological distress. The combination of physical discomfort and the social isolation that often accompanies severe heat can significantly affect overall well-being. Given the growing frequency of heatwaves due to climate change, what measures can be taken to mitigate their impact on mental health, and how can communities and healthcare systems better prepare to address these challenges?
All scaremongering…….. how can we frighten the public even more??……
bs on top of bs on top of bs
I have been affected by heat waves since a little girl. I could never cool down. Then,, fast forward to my 30s, I would just collapse at home, on the floor and stay there, not able to function. Straight into my 50s, till I had to arrange all my jobs/ activities/ chores around the heat seasons.
Now at 72,,, the same. Extreme depression, during hot months. Feelings of trapped. I do not take any Rx,,, I try to hydrate first thing waking,,, and all day. It’s just very difficult. Thank you so much for this article. ❤
Please let me know contact point of SouthKorea Office.

more time in green spaces? lol it's 105F
I'm Greek, born and raised – lived in the Netherlands for 8 years. My country is known for its breathtaking islands, fantastic food, unparalleled hospitality, rich history, and, in recent years, extreme heat.
It was all the way back in 2016 that I noticed the hotter each summer was, the more people were irritable, irrational, and in a constant state of negativity. As soon as temperatures fell, everyone smiled and chatted more, drove a bit more carefully (hey, still dangerously but I'm just saying this comparatively to how most people do so in the summer).
It's also been very eye-opening to see friends from the Netherlands visit Greece in the summer and witness a lot of changes in their behavior, similar to those of locals. All of a sudden, they drove less carefully, had less patience to queue at the grocery store, and felt physically and mentally exhausted doing everyday things.
My heart goes out to every person living in a hot climate – stay safe, avoid peak heat hours, and be well everyone!
The vid couldn't be more of its time. Climate change affecting mental health? Ffs. Imagine presenting this idea to our ancestors.
Bullshit the planet is 15% greener
Media scaremongering affects my mental health more!
02:55 Please, no ideology: Why should a child be "not alive" just because it wasn't born yet?
Extreme heat makes you physically weak too. How can you get basic exercise when it's too hot and you can hardly breathe?
😮
the heat is fine……bin there / done that/ SURVIVED.
HOWEVER…..perhaps media scare stories have a bigger impact on creating unwarranted stress and mental health issues ?
i always wondered why summer was the worst time of year for me mentally.
"You don´t even have to be alive to be experiencing these effects" is probably the stupidist comment I´ve ever heard in a serious report.
Way to control the weather is by making 6 inflatable balls and all the humidity will go to the top of the ball and it will turn into snow which can be used to make lakes and rivers or if you put enough 6 km balls together it will remake the Arctic anywhere you want and change the temperature to any temperature that you want it to be that is how to stop heat waves and to make fresh water anywhere
I live in Japan. September 2024. 7:30pm. 30 degrees outside with humidity.
lol climate change is BS
Humanity and it's extinction will have its day – The rest of the Universe will go on in silence waiting for a life deserving species to emerge
