  1. Note: one point I did not cover in this lecture is the affect of Shaytan (devil) on Wiswas (intrusive thoughts) in a human. Shaytan is a continuous culprit and plays a role in leading to mental illnesses. Spiritual medications such as Ruqya, reciting the 3 Quls, listening to Quran, regular words of Dhikr (remembrance) and using the other methods described in this lecture help, inshllah.

  2. In my country (UAE) I am labelled as a person of certain determinations.
Suffering from (multiple sclerosis) this disease not only affects my physical health but also mental.
Depression and thoughts about self harm is so common… yet I still live. Always resorting back to quran and prayer… hoping for the end ASAP.

  3. Omg i am in love with you by your words of diagnosing yourself. From one month i am diagnosing myself with different diseases because of some bad feelings and thoughts.thinking i might have depression or anxiety or ADHD or some other brain problem.thinking i need a psychologist. And because of diagnosing myself again and again i get more scared

  4. Con’d. is blessed by Allah. You make every subject easily understood. Maash’allah. In addition, your smile has returned and your face is light and warm when you do. May Allah reward you with Jannat al Firdous with your brother and son and all family members. Insha’allah ❤

  5. I don't want to self diagnosed myself but i've been feeling depressed for around 3 years, i just feelin bad and sad all the time, having intrusive thoughts, lack motivation, procrastinating, short tempered with people i love etc. i feel bad but i can't really do something about it bc i can't afford professional help since this feelin making me incapable to basically doing anything. i just pray to Allah to remove this pain.. 😢

  6. Thank you for this lecture. Could you make another one about family of the people with such problems ?? My husband has OCD, and it is very difficult for me to deal with it as well… I became more nervous, have anxiety, and such stuff.. we both started praying, and it helps a bit… but still, it is so hard for me.
