  1. My heart goes out to all dealing with depression. It's NO JOKE.😢 When it got it's grip on me over 10 years ago, all I could do was go to work (not sure how), come home, and wait for bedtime. Bedtime couldn't come quick enough. I went to bed before the sun went down. I really didn't care how I looked. Getting up going to work was enough in itself. I tried different meds, which made it worse. However, I'm sure they are a Godsend for others. Counseling was a Godsend for me. Not sure which was worse, my anxiety or depression. Anxiety meds helped a great deal. Dont sit in silence with depression. It is not your bff. Help is out there for you. Sending much love to all going through and made it through depression.❤❤❤

  2. Depression is very real. Glad to hear more people coming around! But learning to see different perspectives regardless of whether you're experiencing them or not is a valuable thing. ❤

  3. BREAK THE MENTAL HEALTH STIGMA – 2024

Join me and my uprising campaign
    Here is our slogan

"Break the silence on mental illness, because feelings are like farts – everyone has them, but some stink more than others!"

Now using this slogan or even saying it tag me in the video because together we can stop this nonsense and make mental health awareness better

  4. Depression is real but it's not a disease without a cure like people say. Depression stems from not being happy with your life and the way of beating depression is changing your habits and pursuing a life of fulfillment. The majority of people suffering with depression live a life that would make any person depressed. They are sleeping too much, not working hard enough, live the same boring day on repeat, don't have many friends, don't have a Gf/bf, lack hope for the future, search for temporary happiness in drugs/cigarettes/alcohol, and don't have a purpose for waking up in the morning. If you change every single one of those things you won't be depressed. It's not a coincidence you were fine until you were stuck on the couch unable to do what you love and feel is your purpose. Depression is your body's way of telling you things have to change. If living like that didn't feel bad nobody would strive for more.

  5. I didn’t believe in depression either until I got stuck, been about 10 years now still haven’t figured it out or gotten around it…

  6. EVERY ATHLETE IVE HEARD ALWAYS SAYS THIS!!! None of them believe in true depression until the one thing u love to do is stipped from u due to injury. Real talk.

  7. From my experience, there’s a point where your body emulates the sense of giving up. Once you’re subconscious realizes there’s nothing to look forward too all of your physical and mental functions slow down. It’s a cascading effect that will leave you frustrated. It’s like living at 1% battery life. State specific memory gives us perspective on our specific cognitive, emotional and physical experience therefore only people who have experienced or are currently experiencing depression or anxiety understand. Your body and mind are in constant communication.

  8. Lol you have 2 kinda depression the depression people start feeling bad for themselve because they need attention or the real mental depression and thats no joke but the first depression is just gringe i met alot of girls that cut them self for attention so when you see them they know that you see the scratch rlly pathetic a real depressive men wont say it

  9. With my depression, i never really had an issue with sleeping all day most of the time. I would be excited or happy a lot. But people wouldn't know i was secretly depressed and thought about suicide often.

  10. Years ago I remember swearing to god to my lil brother that "I would never be depressed". Cant remember exactly what we were talking about but I remember that moment and saying those exact words. I regret saying that because now ion think nobody is as depressed as I am in any room. I keep God first though

  11. Depression also comes when your own expectations are not met. Decrease expectations or face it one step at the time. You don't have to do everything by yourself. Reducing Youtube, Tic Toc consumption just for one week helps a lot.

  12. Nah bro I swear to god I always use to think being depressed wasn’t a real thing until I became financially stable and was still feeling down about everything
