About St Patrick’s Mental Health Services

St Patrick’s Mental Health Services is Ireland’s largest independent, not-for-profit mental health service.

We are known for providing high-quality mental healthcare through a human rights approach and evidence-based practice. This comes from over 270 years of providing care and treatment, after we were founded through a legacy left by the author and mental health visionary, Jonathan Swift.

We provide a range of therapies and programmes to support people towards mentally healthy lives, developing the tools needed to overcome difficult situations as they progress on the path to #recovery. Our care plans are carefully developed with #multidisciplinary teams made up of highly-skilled mental health professionals. The mental healthcare we provide is structured to suit the person, who is actively encouraged to get involved in their own care and treatment.

We offer #mentalhealth services for young people aged 12 to 17, and adults of all ages, including young adults from 18 to 25, and older adults over 65. We provide inpatient care through our three approved centres in #Dublin; day services through our Wellness and Recovery Centre; and outpatient care through our Dean Clinics in Dublin, #Cork and #Galway. We also offer Homecare services and remote access to our services through phone, video or online channels.
