Racism and Mental Health

Black, Indigenous, and People of Color are the target of prejudice, systemic discrimination, microaggressions, and physical acts of violence due to the color of their skin. Experiences of racism not only cause distress in the moment but can also lead to mental health issues that become more severe with each experience. 1. I got called bobs and vagene and also street shitter by my friends behind my back…i think this gave me trust issues for life, when I really thought of them as my friends and helped them in anyway they wanted me to. I don't respond or talk to them anymore…I know what they really think of me now

  2. Not color of their skin, but due to their facial features and skeletal structure which narrates a different story of what it's being told in "science"

  3. really needed this. I think we all need to stick together and stand up for each other. It hard for me personally, i feel like i'm a coward sometimes and i want to speak out but i can't and i don't know why.

  6. AS A BIRACIAL HISPANIC WOMAN THIS IS SO PATHETIC ND IT MAKES US MORE THE TARGERT.
IT TEACHES US TO PLAY VICTIMS AND WEAK …F*K THIS SHIT.
