  1. I’m trying everything! Therapy every 2 weeks, medical esketamine treatments once a week, 2 psychiatrists. I’m medication resistant so I never want to leave the house cause I’m scared!

  2. I have a 40 year old son who is high functioning autistic with schizophrenia. He is on Disability and homeless . I am 70 and live in a subsidized duplex as my SSR is very low. He sleeps and camps out on my front porch. I love him and feel sorry for him so I do his laundry occasionally and once a week let him take a shower. I've told him he has to leave after this but he doesn't because he has nowhere to go. He can become loud, obnoxious, yelling at the top of his lungs, alarming the neighbors. He hears voices constantly and has been on various meds thru the last 3 1/2 years since his schizophrenia began but they make him very sick. I just don't know what to do about him. My landlord has threatened to boot me out. He knocks constantly on my door so I'm up almost constantly answering it. He lives in his own fantasy world, hallucinating the most bizarre things. He's never been on drugs but does drink beer occasionally. What can I do? There is no mental health Drs here who will accept his insurance. He has no options at this point, for help. He is highly intelligent with an IQ over 120 (tested) and knows computer software like nobodies business. I just need him to be more independent because I'm 70 and I have type2 diabetes and who knows how much longer I'm going to be around. Thanks

  8. Importance of mental health check-ins, especially during Mental Health Awareness Month.

Evaluate life balance across physical health, achievements, relationships, and personal meaning.

Recognize patterns in mood, sleep quality, and physical well-being.

Assess your support system and ensure you have reciprocal relationships.

Identify activities that bring joy and prioritize self-care for mental wellness.
