  1. I’d love to try MDMA for ptsd.
I’ve tried mushrooms a couple times by myself and cried the whole, whole, whole, time. It was heartbreaking for me to know all the evils I’d endured. My mind was blown.

  2. I've been microdosing for 2 mos. I went from daily panic attacks to NO PANIC ATTACKS.
I'm struggling with attachment and healing from deep past trauma, but slowly making progress. I'm currently looking for a new therapist. Mine retired 2 mo ago right before I started dosing.

  3. Hi Dr Snipes, isn't downregulation of various 5-HT receptors at least partially responsible for the beneficial effects of psychedelics? After all, the same principle apparently stands behind the action of SSRIs, and the outcome is similar to that of other antidepresants, like mirtazapine or agomelatine (5-HT receptor antagonists).

  4. This is so incredibly exciting. Psychedelics will revolutionize mental health. I plan to be on the front lines of this effort in a legal and therapeutic context in the near future.

  5. It is brave of you to bring this information to light. Even though both psilocybin and MDMA have received breakthrough therapy designation from the FDA (stronger support than the covid vaccines), there is still an unwarranted stigma because of decades of propaganda and disinformation from those in power. That stigma is being reversed swiftly, and it won't be long til this necessary body of science receives it's long awaited designation as a legitimate psychotherapeutic treatment.
Ibogaine for example cures severe addiction and even erases symptoms of opioid withdrawal. These are modern marvels that far surpass outcomes of current mental health treatment, and it's about damn time we all take a look at the science.

  6. Hello, thank you for this precious content, could you make some video about Ibuprofen and it's dopaminergic neurones protection effect? I took the ibuprofen first time in my life one month ago because I had cought a cold and after 1st dose of 200mg I have experienced the important mood amelioration. Greetings Piotr 🙂

  7. When you "trip", your brain 🧠 does not make the same "feedback loops", (learned patterns of thought,) that it would under normal conditions to stimuli. This is why people are receptive and enlightened after the "trip."
And research has shown that, by the nature of disrupting those learned behavior patterns, the dopamine feedback loop is interrupted as well! This is WONDERFUL for those who wish to quit smoking cigarettes, or other illicit drugs along those lines.
But, to be honest, any behavior modification can be realized, observed, and changed with more ease when you see things from a different vantage point…

  8. Hello, i have Depersonalation triggered by really stressful life events, its trauma definitly.
My question is do you know about depersonalition or derealisation and high anxiety and treating it with psylocibin?
I started micrososing a few days ago, i feel really bad

  9. I have tried 8 Delta THC and while it makes me relaxed, I think it makes me feel more depressed because I'm so unable to really do much. How can you really find out what works best for you, is it really trial and error??

  10. To anyone thinking of trying any entheogen do your research first please.Psychedelics have been used for thousands of years and can be incredibly transformative.
If you're on any pharmaceuticals however(especially anything for depression and anxiety) then you really need do your research.

  11. I need help. My son is suicidal. He is an adult and resistant to getting traditional help. Where can I find a place to get him treatment using psychedelic medicine?

  12. Despite continued prohibition, modern research has revealed the promising potential of LSD and psilocybin for treating alcohol and tobacco dependence depression and end-of-life anxiety

  13. People that suffer depression have more 5H2A receptors. I didn't know that. How could you know that? Are the receptors microscopic.

  14. I've got a question. I am using a pretty low daily dose of Aripiprazole (4 MG per day). Will I be at risk of serotonin syndrom if I used psychedelics (normal or microdose)?

  15. You don’t to speak to him about it , you have to work on yourself personally , I remember when I was still battling that , wasn’t comfortable with situation and anything that’s new cause of fear and anxiety but I decided to take it into my hand buy researching how to defeat it mostly I got advice to try psychedelic mushroom which I did and it’s the best decision I’ve ever made , it gave me a sense of self awareness, confidence and more understanding in every situation I found myself, I micro dosed on it and now I work effectively everyday

  16. Thank you for this detailed and comprehensive video 😀
I love how you stick to facts and how you take it clinically serious.
Too many videos out there on the subject that doesn't give a sense of seriousness.
    Thank you Dr

  17. As someone who has taken SSRIs for over 28 years, pschycodelics sound like a far less harmful and more effective antidepressant than what is now available. Why would this not be the first choice of treatment?

  18. I think the question "how do you feel?" is the most stupid question for someone looking for mental health treatment. I got so frustrated being asked this!! Then y'all cane up with that test helped enormously!! Thank you!!!

  19. 12 years of my life with social anixety, try everything except for psicodelics i want to try psilocibine on mushrroms with meditation and se what happens

  20. I think micro-dosing might maximize potential benefits slowly over time while minimizing the risks. A lot more research is needed because what's out there is limited. I was left to 'experiment' with what the right 'dose' was for me. Taking 50mgs of mushrooms once every few hours until I reached a threshold of 200-300mgs met my specific needs.

  21. I've tried SSRIs and therapy, and got basically little to nothing out of them. I tried some psilocybin from a friend of mine, and it was the best I'd felt in 20 years. Not high, like with THC, just good. Happy, and hopeful and confident. Things I hadn't really felt since childhood. The after effects haven't been much because it was a low dose in a non "professional" setting, but it has had some positive long term effects. I'd love to try it in a more "professional" setting with a higher dose.
