  2. When you play football at this level you’re taking your life into your own hands every time you strap on a helmet. To be successful you have to ignore every natural human impulse for fear and safety. Not all players are able to turn off that switch for regular life and this is what the world ignores. They see you as big and tough but they don’t understand the challenges and organizations like the NFL do not prioritize this because they make billions off the men who can cutoff regular human impulse (for safety and life). It’s a very vicious cycle and RW is articulating it well
