TNAAP Promotes Behavioral Healthcare | Children’s Health Crisis | NPT Reports
Health providers who take care of children are seeing an increasing number affected by behavioral health and substance abuse concerns. Yet, studies show 4 out of 5 of these children do not receive the services they need to improve their behavioral and emotional health. To help improve that trend, the Tennessee Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics has developed a training program called BE-HIP (Behaviorally Effective Healthcare in Pediatrics).
