  1. What are we even saying here when we say these things are "treatable"? People who do not have tremors or other such debilitating "symptoms" are telling us that we are "treatable". How about telling us that there is nothing needing treatment, that it is absolutely EXPECTED to feel llike our lives have been turned upside down, when they HAVE. The stigma comes from being "treatable", aka needing treatment. What we need is connection and intimacy … all of us. And our world is swiftly becoming devoid of any true intimacy or connection. PD is just a physical manifestation of how we ALL really feel about a wider global apathy. The folks who get PD are canaries in the global coal mine of prevalent isolation.
