Benefit concert for new behavioral health unit
A Howard County hospital is taking steps to lower emergency room wait times for mental health and behavioral health patients. Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center is trying to raise $3 million by the end of the year for a new behavioral health unit. As the hospital raises money, it’s already starting to build the space that will help doctors better serve patients with mental or behavioral health emergencies.
