Focus on educator’s mental health with Paul Sauer
A study by Teachers union- Suid-Afrikaanse Onderwysers Unie (SAOU) in conjunction with North-West University has found that 1 446 of 1 722 teachers surveyed, need, and will use, crisis hotlines, counselling and mentorship programmes to support them to cope with stress in the classroom.
The study has revealed among others that teachers are struggling with burnout.
