  1. I miss you my friend I feel this episode spoke directly to me the over thinker. I do use strategies you unknowingly taught me. I don't print tomorrows work list today or I spend the early hours working in my head when I should be resting THAT is the biggest gift you gave me xx

  2. So helpful, I tend to overthink for sure and get stuck in thoughts at times. They’re usually based on fears. I will try your suggestions. Love the Dead Or Alive reference lol what a great song! I used to see him as a darker version of Boy George whom I absolutely adore! Thanks for the great advice and the laughs! 🧠

  3. I have been listening to your podcast and I look forward to Sunday for your new episodes. It’s so funny this popped up today because this is what I have been doing and it has brought so much angst to my life. I thank you for all you do for so many of us💕

  4. Hello Jeremy

Very helpful video and informative as well!

What works for me is journaling and jotting down everything that is I am feeling on a piece of paper and then burning or tearing it into pieces and throwing it in the garbage. Also asking myself questions like “is this going to matter in 5 years? ” like you suggested helps a lot. I also often tell myself “if it’s not going to matter in 5 days, don’t spend more than 5 minutes worrying about it”. I remember when I listened to your podcast episode about overthinking and I loved the quote that you shared at the end. If I am not mistaken, the quote was something along the lines of: "I have had many worries in my life, most of which never happened". I think that our minds are incredible and the most powerful organ that we have, we just need to make sure that our thought are not working against us and controlling us!

Anyway, thanks again for this fabulous video! I am always happy on Wednesdays morning when I open Youtube and I find myself with a new mental health video to start the day on a positive note 😊

Take care and I hope you have a fabulous weekend!

  6. 🧠 I just found your podcast and channel today and I’m so grateful! Thank you for your helpful advice and insight 👏😊 I used to write a lot and agree that it is such a helpful tool. Lately I have been dealing with anxiety and self doubt unlike ever before, which is strange to me but I am seeking ways that can help me manage it and hopefully turn it around. Thanks again!

  7. 🧠This was really helpful. Just like your other content and podcasts. I listen to you when I'm stressed or worried. Your biggest fan based in Nairobi Kenya.

  8. 🧠 Loved this podcast! Brilliant advices as always, you're my favourite: smart, funny and concise! ❤️But this time, when I asked myself if the subject I'm overthinking now and drives me mad will matter in 5 years, annoyingly the answer is yes. I have to decide to which city to move for a better quality of life and research job markets, employment rates, living costs, crime rates etc. 1 city is lovely, less crime but less job opportunities another one is uglier, more crime but more jobs. This kind of stuff can drive any overthinker bonkers…🤪

  9. Hi Jeremy just wanted to start by saying I love your approach, you are gifted,! I only found you today! I am 70, yikes! and of course still trying to figure out my life, with all it's complexities and ups and downs, especially now as I have less time left on the planet! Having said that I am interested in people, always have been and in this journey we are on and I am always trying to figure out where I fit, guess that's the over thinker in me!

I do have a question that would be great to have addressed, and that is, how do we navigate what is good for us, when we need to consider the needs of others in our lives, our loved ones who will be affected by our decisions that might be good for us, but not necessarily good for them. Especially young children, our partner or spouse etc I do, and always have had, a tendency to make decisions based on how they would affect those I love and so will let my needs take a backseat, Like right now I love the ocean, and I love change, but my partner loves being inland, not keen on change, I want to spend more time researching and hanging out with people, but my partner is happy where we are, where the workload to manage our property is constant. I want to move and live by the sea, but he does not and so i stay where I am, inland, to allow him to enjoy what he enjoys, I can't see how I navigate that without just accepting the status quo or leaving and that is not an option!

Also Grief, have you a link to handling grief, I lost my son a little over a year ago, I believe his sudden death has led me to more questions on what makes me happy and how do I have my needs met without causing others harm.
    Many thanks Jeremy
    Jennifer
