Very very true. My son passed away three years ago and I didn't know how to survive through the grief and trauma. I am self-employed and have no behavioral health insurance. I applied for AHCCCS and was accepted, however, it contracts out all mental health coverage and I was told my primary care provider could not treat or prescribe for mental health. I was told to go to Terros. Terros is an addiction treatment clinic. They offer ZERO grief therapy or any therapy for that matter. All that Terros does is write sedative prescriptions. It's a Joke!!! I've had no grief therapy and made at least 100 calls to AHCCCS, Terros and Mercy Maricopa. They truly do not care. And we wonder why there are so many mentally ill homeless. Arizona doesn't give a crap, nor does Terros. It's a complete disaster.
Anytime i mention anxiety, depression, panic attacks, my providers just stay quiet, they never prescribe me anything for it. Clearly they've never dealt with these issues before or simpy don't give a damn. Crappy state crappy services crappy doctors
