  1. I have treatment resistnat anxiety and depression (also several typws of OCD), and have been on w high dose of paroxetine (paxil) which hepepd but becamse less effective. I was prescribed a low dose of quetiapine (Seroquel) along with it to help wkth my sleep and treatment resistant deprsssion and anxiety. Just wondering if i should be on this because i deal woth a lot of paranoia amd ocd delusions but i dont beleive i have schizophrenia or a schizoaffective disorder, I'm just a little concerned. It has helped my sleep and I already feel like it's hugging my anxiety but it's just a little concerning. Is it possible my doctor may think I have schizophrenia? Or is this the right medication for me to be on? I know only my doctor should technically give me medical advice, but im just looking for advice

  2. Not in nursing school yet but your videos definitely help me get in the mindset of what I need to know going forward. Thank you so much! ❤

  3. Over the years I’ve been on many different antipsychotics and antidepressants none of them really ever seem to work, which is why i was on many different ones. They kept trying new ones. About8 years ago. They put me on Saphris and didn’t feel good or bad from it ,felt nothing from it . My doctor said to continue on taking it .A couple days later I was in my pool and I went to the bottom of the pool and took a great big breath and drowned , I’m here only because a neighbor happened to look out his window and saw me at the bottom of the pool. He called 911 and dragged me out of the pool.Ihad no heart beat so he started CPR . I was officially dead. Somehow they got my heart beating. I was in a coma for three days on life support. My husband was told even if I came out of the coma and breathed on my own I was going to have brain damage. Well I did come out of the coma and was breathing on my own and seemed to know who everybody was and knew where I was. I think God was looking out his window too. I have some memory loss (according to my family).
Needless to say, the doctors immediately took me off the saphris. I am now on celexa, olanzapine and clonazapam. I think I am doing OK. The next summer, my husband filled in the pool and I haven’t gone in water since.
Just want to warn people that these medications can give you suicidal thoughts and actions and to never go swimming alone!

revived by a neighbor that just happened to be looking out his window, but I’m scared now with all. I’m scared of that happening to me again I have. I haven’t felt that way lately I am on Celexa now and olanzapine and I’m wondering why why do I have to be getting both drugs, why do I take an antidepressant and antipsychotic? If so could answer this for me I would really appreciate it.
