At the center of Nationwide Children’s Hospital main campus, you’ll find the nation’s largest center dedicated exclusively to child and adolescent behavioral health on a pediatric campus. The Big Lots Behavioral Health Pavilion at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, prioritizes patient safety in a colorful, friendly environment, just like our main hospital. The 9-story building includes in and outpatient services, a unique Psychiatric Crisis Department and conference rooms for expanding education and training for the next generation of mental health providers. Building upon the mental health benefits of nature, we brought the outdoors, in, with a specially-designed rooftop play area and beautiful courtyards for patients to soak up some fresh air as part of their healing. Our staff enjoy a similar environment to promote balance and well-being, with a second courtyard for employees to decompress and rejuvenate – helping them provide the best possible care to our patients.
